Atlas secures funding package from Santander

North Devon-based Atlas Packaging has secured a £3.75 million finance package from Santander to support the company’s five-year growth plan.

Atlas is one of the largest specialist sheet plants in the country, specialising in corrugated packaging for a number of sectors, including food, furniture, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, mail order and automotive. The company was established in 1983 by the now Chairman Adrian Gamble, and now employs 98 staff at its factory site in Barnstaple.

Mark Reeve, Commercial Director at Atlas Packaging, said:  “The move to Santander and the finance package they have put together for us will enable us to develop the business in-line with our five-year strategy.”

Jo Norton, Relationship Director for Santander Corporate & Commercial, said:  “We are delighted to be working with Atlas Packaging and to have provided this latest finance injection. They have a fantastic vision for their company and with their strong management team, and dedicated investment programme, we know they will make every success of this next stage of their venture. We look forward to working with them in the future.”

“It is pleasing to see the team able to secure the bank funding the business requires to deliver the growth plans at Atlas Packaging. Isca Ventures looks forward to continuing to be part of their journey.” added Guy Eggleton, partner at Isca Ventures.

Throughout our management buy-out and since we have found the knowledge, experience and creativity at Isca Ventures to be a huge asset to our business. We valued their support in our recent bank refinancing and we look forward to them continuing to be a part of our journey.
