Bradford & Sons acquires Blanford Forum Timber

Historic builders’ merchant Bradford and Sons has acquired a Dorset-based timber and builders’ merchant company.

The Yeovil-headquartered business, which dates back to the 18th century and has turnover of £135m, has bought Blandford Forum Timber for an undisclosed sum. The management and staff of Blandford Forum Timber, which was founded in 1956, are to join the Bradfords group.
