Trade sale of Hotel Perfect to Mews

Hotel Perfect has been acquired by Mews

Hotel Perfect, a UK-based hotel management software provider, has been acquired by Mews, an international provider of cloud-based property management services.

Founded in 1992, Hotel Perfect’s platform comprises a suite of software products including a booking engine, channel management, guest communications and dynamic pricing. Its UK-wide customer base includes hotels, resorts and spas, golf clubs, conference centres and self-catering businesses around the country.

“The PMS category is currently going through rapid innovation and growth,” said Richard Valtr, Founder of Mews. “Hotel Perfect has everything we’re looking for in an acquisition: great people, customers and technology. This partnership also represents a conscious investment into the UK market where we’re seeing strong adoption of cloud technology and hospitality brands who are looking for solutions that will serve them long into the future.”

Andrew Risely, managing director of Hotel Perfect. “We’ve known Mews for a long time and both share a common goal of delivering great technology to a wide variety of hospitality businesses. We believe they are leading the way with the next generation of ‘Open API Connectivity’ allowing businesses to choose, and seamlessly connect applications to the property management system.”

Isca Ventures acted as lead corporate finance adviser to Hotel Perfect with legals undertaken by Roxburgh Milkins (Hotel Perfect) and Ferro Legal (Mews).

Andrew Risely added: “We valued the support of Isca Ventures in delivering our company sale process. They have worked with us for a number of years and ensured we were well placed to deliver our planned transaction.”
