US-based Harper Collins, part of the News Corp group, has acquired Toptrack Learning, in a deal brokered by corporate finance advisers Isca Ventures LLP.
Toptrack Learning is a UK-based cross-curricular education technology company, with its language learning applications used in over 1,200 schools and institutions in the UK and overseas.
Harper Collins is the second largest consumer book publisher in the world, with operations in 18 countries and nearly two hundred years of history.
Justin Sycamore from Toptrack Learning said: “Through its flagship product, Vocab Express, Toptrack Learning has established a solid school customer base across the UK and internationally. This acquisition provides a tremendous opportunity to exploit the potential of the Toptrack Learning Application around the world and in other areas of the curriculum.”
